Day Nursery // Mine, all mine!

August 17, 2018
I think that Piglet is ready for the move up to the next room in her nursery setting. As she has reached the mine, all mine stage of toddlerhood. That wonderful stage where everything is theirs and nothing is yours. Which is trying when it comes to attempting to eat a family meal and she spots something on your plate that she quite likes the look of. However, this stage does have its benefits, especially when it comes to taking ownership of their possessions. In preparation for her moving up to the next stage in her nursery journey, Labels4Kids kindly sent us an Iron-on Labels Pack. A personalised named labelling set perfect for nursery, preschool, and of course, back to school. Even for highlight to the children whose drinks bottle is who’s – anything to attempt to save the arguments.

I digress… back to the mine, all mine stage of toddlerhood.  As her new room promotes toddler independence (personally, it’s probably easier to to promote it than it is to go against it), I have been labelling all her supplies in preparation. Getting her used to seeing her name on her clothes, shoes, bag and snack pots etc. Enabling her to recognise what items are actually hers so she can lay claim to them.
