When you become a parent, there are many things that you will list as benefits, advantages, and worthwhile moments. One of those things that might not openly make it to your list but you will no doubt be thinking it, is getting to play with toys again. Playing with toys is a legitimate reason as to why the dishes haven’t been washed or the washing machine has not been emptied. You can gaze up at your partner as they find you and the little ones on the living room floor surrounded by toys. Even better when the toys that you loved as a child make a return and you find yourself regressing back to your childhood as you happily comb Rainbow Dash’s hair.
My Little Pony featured heavily within my own childhood, so with the new My Little Pony The Movie coming out in cinemas (which is high up on our half term must do list), I am more than happy to sit down with the children and play ponies all afternoon. We’ve been working with Argos on the new My Little Pony Movie Toy Collection, which has had us all even more excited for the new movie.

Roo, Tigger, and Piglet were kindly sent over three toys from the new collection and we’ve been having fun over the past week with them. Exploring new friendships, and seeing how the characters work together.

The Princess has arrived!
Take a musical journey under the sea with either Princess Skystar or Pinkie Pie. In their seapony form, you are invited to climb aboard their shell and enjoy some of the musical tunes from the movie. Allow them to stand proudly on their seashell, comb their hair or take them on a water-filled adventure in the bathtub. We’ve been indulging Princess Skystar in some bubble baths in bowls of washing up water, and surrounding her with bubbles we have blown whilst her musical tunes play in the background.

Princess Twilight Sparkle and her friend Spike the Dragon showcase how singing can be fun, however, when you come together as friends it can sound so much better. Hold Twilight Sparkle and Spike together so that they are touching whilst activating the Cutie Mark on Twilight Sparkle, listen as she says a couple of phrases before they sing together. Twilight Sparkle can also sing without Spike the Dragon, however, the song is so much better together.
Twilight Sparkle is the biggest pony we received, so Roo has been putting on music concerts and recitals for the other My Little Pony friends to enjoy.
