Once upon a time I had a huge selection of shoes. I had shoes that only matched certain outfits. Shoes that I could only walk a few hundred metres in without feeling crippled but they looked good. And shoes that I only wore to work. Nowadays my life has changed and whilst I’d still love a collection of shoes, I am more about practicality over heels and sparkles.
Up until recently, I had just three pairs of shoes. My trainers which quite frankly never see the light of day, my boots which I wear in the winter and bad weather and then a pair of everyday shoes which have been battered and bashed, yet are so comfortable that I don’t want to throw them away. Over the summer it became quite obvious that my battered shoes weren’t suitable for the summer sunshine and I needed to find something new to wear.

I’m not really keen on wearing sandals or flip flops if I’m honest as I don’t like to have my toes on display. Plus with a pushchair brake to get on and off it’s not entirely practical. Looking for something that will give me the support and comfort I long for as well as allowing my feet to breathe and be cool over the warmer months I turned to Muck Boots.

The ballet flat’s come with Xpress CoolTM fabric lining cools feet on warm days, making them suitable come rain or shine. Complete with a rubber pod out-sole they are durable and flexible as I walk.

I’ve been wearing these over the summer and even on the hottest days my feet have felt comfortable. The ability to easily kick these off when we were at at the beach as well as pop back on when needed has been great. The flexibility from the rubber out-sole really makes walking in them light and comfortable as well as offering protection from shallow puddles etc.
