Missed delivery

February 21, 2016

The last few years have seen my shopping habits change. For many years, I loved nothing more than planning a big shopping trip into the city. I’d spend the whole day working my way around the shops, stopping for lunch midway before getting the last few items on my list.

Nowadays the majority of my shopping is completed online. This is due to time constrictions, to relieve the hassle of finding something in store only to find it isn’t available in my size so I’d end up buying it online anyway and also as buying online is so much more convenient. With many stores having their own app I can purchase items with a few clicks on my smartphone, tablet or laptop.

Missed delivery

The one thing I miss about completely my shopping trips is the convenience of taking everything home with me there and then. No need to worry about how long delivery will take and whether I will be home in order to accept delivery. There is something so frustrating about waiting in all day for a delivery only for you to miss it when you pop out to do the school run, hang the washing out or that delivery ninja who I’m sure don’t even knock, they just slip a card through the letterbox without you knowing and you are forced to rearrange the delivery for another day.

Parcel For Me

Parcel For Me understand the frustrations of a missed delivery and the inconvenience of having to wait around for a delivery. They understand that when we buy items online that we want the process to be as easy as possible, from entering the same details time and time again, to be able to choose the delivery point, whether it be our home address, workplace or a click & collect location. Alongside this, we want to be able to choose the delivery date so we can decide whether the items will arrive in time (especially for those last-minute gift purchases – honestly, I didn’t forget your birthday it was a problem with delivery).

I’m hopeful that Parcel For Me will revolutionise they way we purchase items online and that we get our goods on the first delivery attempt, every time.

Do you get frustrated by missed deliveries?
