Making the most of voucher codes websites

April 1, 2015

Over the weekend I took Roo and Tigger into the city to see Milkshake Live! at the Theatre Royal. Whilst we were in the city I decided it was a great excuse to partake in a spot of window shopping – who doesn’t love a spot of window shopping?

As we made our way into familiar stores there wasn’t anything in particular that caught my eye, however as we walked down the main street heading to the mall we walked past River Island. A store I will admit to hardly ever going into, no particular reason really other than I guess I think of them as young and hip – both of which I am not. Anyway as we walked past I caught a glimpse of their shoe display (I’m a sucker for shoes).

Making our way into the store I decided to see if I could pick up a pair of summer sandals and found a couple of pairs that caught my eye before seeing that they had a selection of children’s shoes available too – I didn’t even realise that they did children’s shoes! I came across a couple of pairs that I liked for the children for summer however as it was a Saturday the store was busy and there was a bit of a wait for an assistant to help us with sizes so I decided to leave it and have a look when I got home.

I’m not the only parent in the world who wants to treat their children to new things, however in order to do this I do like to make sure I’m getting a good deal. Shopping through voucher code websites like Fashion Beans whenever I am buying new clothes, shoes or accessories allows me to check for the latest offers and discounts for whichever store I am looking to purchase from.

A close up of a deviceFor example, there is River Island discount code running at the moment which will save me 20% off a £20 spend on footwear.

Heading over to River Island to see if I could find the sandals that I’d liked in store I actually managed to find a different pair which I like much more. The peach leather-look bow trim sandals are a classic sandal and will hopefully look good with whatever I wear this summer, plus with my 20% saving I was a happy girl  – thank you Fashion Beans (so pleased I didn’t buy the other ones in store).

Since I’d managed to save some money on getting myself a pair of summer sandals I decided to treat Roo and Tigger to the pairs we had seen in store. Both the girls pink footbed sandals and the boys blue double strap sandals are limited edition so I was pleasantly pleased to find I could get them in the sizes I needed.

Now to head over to see what ASOS voucher codes they have as Mr Boo ahas seen a new backpack for work that he wants
