There is something about winter fashion that I adore. I’m not sure if it is the Northerner in me that loves the beautiful knitwear and different layer options. As we approach winter, I am however a little unprepared for the cold weather and need to sort out Piglet’s wardrobe.
This Thursday 17th November Lidl are following up from the success of their first Lupilu baby range back in September. Launching the Lupilu Winter Baby Collection, it is promised to offer parents and families great quality, a fabulous range, and amazing prices.
Piglet was lucky enough to have a selection of the new collection sent over last week. A range of super-soft fleece jackets, knitted jumpers and all-in-ones, as well as classic long-sleeved tops and snuggly hats make Lidl’s latest range perfect for keeping little ones cosy in chilly temperatures.

Lupilu Baby Fleece All-in-One
This adorable all-in-one fleece which is perfect for popping on whilst we complete the school run. With a 100% cotton lining is feels soft against Piglet’s skin. With an asymmetric zip, hood with cute ears and face detail as well as turn-up cuffs on the sleeves and feet.
Priced at just £4.99, available in a range of sizes up to 24 months it is sure to be flying off the shelves.
Lupilu Baby Plush Tights
Now Piglet and I have an ongoing battle about socks! I put them on, she takes them off and we continue throughout the day like this. Of course, during the warmer months this wasn’t a problem but now that the cool weather is set to stay I would like to keep her toes warm. My solution to this is tights, whether she is wearing a knitted dress or leggings – she can’t escape from them not matter how much she tries (point to Mummy!).

Layers are always better than one thick layer, as my Mam always told me. This is something key for little ones as they can fluctuate between too warm and too cold easily. During the winter I always pop Piglet in a vest, a long-sleeved top then have a cardigan or jumper on standby in case it gets chilly. With an all-in-one on top for when we venture outdoors.
During the average day, she can go through a couple of long-sleeved tops (depending on what was for lunch and dinner) so I always need a ready supply of them for her.

Lidl’s Lupilu Winter Baby collection is available in all stores across England, Wales, and Scotland from 17th November, while stocks last.
Available in sizes 2-24 months, the collection features adorable pieces with fox and bear motifs in a range of neutral colours. Alongside the clothing, Lidl has introduced essential winter accessories too, from snoods to patterned bobble and bear hats.
