With the new school year approaching this is a fantastic book to purchase ahead of little ones who are just about to start in reception class. Throughout their baby, toddler and pre-school stages books will have featured heavily. From the bedtime stories enjoyed as a family, to picture books that capture their attention with bright colours and illustrations. As well as the ones their siblings or cousins have read to them.

As they make the next step to starting school, this opens a whole new world for them. Learning to read is just one of the skills that they will be asked to start achieving. This can be a challenge and in some children, it can put them off the wonderful world of books. The I Do Not Like Books Anymore! story highlights the difficulty of learning to read. Showing them that once they have mastered the basics they will soon begin to love books once again.
