Husqvarna Toy Walk Lawn Mower

July 29, 2017

As a little girl, I can always remember having such fun in the garden. We were quite lucky in that we had quite a long garden which made way for paddling pools, hand stands against the fence and having friends over to play. Back in those days, everyone knew everyone so we would often have the neighbours over with all the children playing together in one of the gardens.

For years we have hoped to have a house with a garden for the children to enjoy and after moving home last year we were able to fulfill this dream. Last summer was all about getting the garden ready, the lawn had seen better days etc so Mr. Boo set about ensuring that it was fed, watered and mowed regularly. Now that the summer holidays are here for another year, it is time for us to make the most of the outdoor space we have available. The children were treated to a trampoline at Easter which they adore. And our latest addition to the garden is a wooden playhouse, which is primarily for Piglet, although the older two seem to love it just as much.

One of the things that all of the children seem to love is helping Mr. Boo when he completes the gardening chores. From collecting the weeds he has pulled up, holding the garden bin as he empties the grass cuttings etc. Whilst there are a number of chores they can assist with, mowing the lawn isn’t. This doesn’t mean that they don’t want to get involved, so when we were offered the Husqvarna Toy Walk Lawn Mower to review, I knew they would be delighted.

Husqvarna Toy Walk Lawn Mower

The battery operated Husqvarna Toy Walk Lawn Mower, offers children the opportunity to role play and assist Mum and Dad in the garden with the chores. With a pull starter action to start the mower with realistic sounds and flashing lights. Requiring minimal assembly in order to get the ‘gardening’ underway. With just the handle requiring to be attached to the main body of the mower.

Aimed at children aged 3+ both Roo and Tigger have enjoyed playing with this around the garden. However, it has soon become one of Piglet’s must play with garden toys. Happily pushing it around the garden (in her PJ’s) whilst I hang the washing on the line in a morning. Or chasing her older siblings around the garden with it.
