It’s about time everyone cottoned onto the fact that calling 0870, 0845, 0871 and 0844 numbers is one of the biggest scams in communication history. Calling any numbers that are prefixed with any of the above numbers usually results in a high cost call that’ll ruin your week when you realise how much it cost.
Fortunately, there are websites online that will provide you alternate numbers you can call, that will charge you at a normal rate. There are even smartphone apps that allow you to do the same thing.
