Vanna can’t believe her luck when her friend Jesse recommended her catering company to his brother Dominic. This could be her big break into more lucrative events and is hoping that the New Year’s party goes off without a hitch. Although setting a tablecloth on fire wasn’t in the plan and nit the best way to make the right impression on her boss.

Women come and go easily in Dominic’s life, never letting them get too attached to him or his money. Setting his eyes on Vanna for the first time there is something special about her. He’s wondering why his youngest brother Jesse has never made a play for her before. Feeling the attraction between them he manages to gain a New Year’s kiss from her much to the disgust of his current plaything.

Warned to stay away from Dominic by his brother, Vanna is determined not to get involved. However, as their paths cross again she is confused as to whether she wants him or not. But then Jesse makes his feelings known and her world turns upside down. Add in a potential murder charge, a few days in jail thanks to her best friend and Vanna doesn’t know what to do for the best. Are they able to overcome their pasts and issues together?

Life has turned upside down recently for Tara. Managing to escape an abusive relationship. She thought she had potentially killed Clinton but turned out unfounded. Her best friend is loved up and about to go away for two months so she’s at a loss as to what to do with her life. Vanna asks her interview for a nannying gig which she doesn’t think she’ll be suited for but soon finds herself falling in love with the three children. Wanting to protect them from the big bad world around them.

A growing attraction between Tara and Jason proves difficult to ignore, despite how much they try. But can he really date his children’s nanny? Not to mention issues they are both harbouring from their past relationships. Can they risk hurting the children if things don’t work out between them?

Life as a layer is all work, work, work for Liz, aiming to make partner at the firm she has been working at. Taking little time for her love life especially after a disastrous date a while back with Eric which has only made her focus on her work more. Despite being swamped with cases the firm has just taken on a big client and case for the Halstead brothers.

With his family company under investigation Eric is hoping that the lawyers work their magic so that he can cash in his shares and start a business of his own. Although one of his new lawyers is someone who he had a terrible coffee date with but wishes to win her over with his charm and persistence. But the client/lawyer relationship is not one that should be breached. Wearing down her resistance he manages to convince her to a do-over date which at first doesn’t appear to go well, however, once Liz loosens up, the chemistry between them sparks.

The case continues with further revelations whilst Liz has her own surprise to deal with. Can they really make this work?

Artist Maya has travelled the US creating and selling her art and jewellery. Finally putting down roots she underestimated how expensive life in one place could be and is swimming in debt. Needing to find a way out of her predicament her friend Margo suggest she signs up to an elite matchmaking service where women are partnered with eligible men with a substantial fee for dating/marriage. After one too many drinks she signs up.

Jesse is the last of the Halstead brothers to settle down. His playboy lifestyle has suited him up until recently, however, with his grandfather ill his dying wish is to see all the brothers settled. Which leaves Jesse pondering what to do. A joke conversation with one of his friends prompts thoughts of an arranged marriage. Matching with Maya they agree to meet to see whether they can fake the relationship before signing a contract. The date goes well leading to them sleeping together, something they each didn’t think would happen.

As they agree the terms of their marriage Maya is introduced to his family and plans for the wedding progress. However, Maya suddenly receives unexpected news throwing a spanner in the works. With a great connection between the pair, where does the fake relationship start/finish?
