With Halloween approaching it is time to start preparing about what tricks or treats that I will give to the trick or treaters this year. I don’t believe in being one of those families who turn off all the lights and sit in the dark just so nobody will knock on the door. Instead I like to embrace Halloween and stock up on some treats to give out at the door.
Halloween doesn’t have to cost the earth so a trip to my local Poundland allows me to stock up on all I need to ensure I am giving the Trick or Treaters a treat.

Handing out treats isn’t just a case of holding out a bag of sweets, personally I like to offer the choice so adding sweets and treats to a selection of cauldrons, bowls or even pre-filled candy pumpkins.

Sweets are an individual choice, what one child likes might not be what another likes so I love to offer a range of sweetie treats. Along side the sweets I offer apples and satsumas and it really surprising to see just how many children opt for the fruit instead of the sweets.
