Following the successful UK release of Prima Princessa Presents The Nutcracker, the next show in this children’s series, Prima Princessa Presents Sleeping Beauty featuring The Royal Ballet, comes to the UK this spring 2013! Available on DVD for £5.99 in the UK as well as to European countries through Amazon.
Independently produced by 2 mums, Prima Princessa Presents Sleeping Beauty contains an entertaining mix of live ballet and ballet step demonstrations young viewers can dance along to. An animated ballerina-fairy, speaking with a British accent, serves as the guide throughout the show taking a group of children to see The Royal Ballet’s The Sleeping Beauty and in between acts encouraging them to learn new ballet steps demonstrated by students at the School of American Ballet, the official school of the New York City Ballet. After the ballet ends the fun continues with a magical tea party and fun floral crafts. Prima Princessa Presents Sleeping Beauty is a Parents’ Choice Award winner: “Be sure to roll up the carpet and push back the furniture when you watch this DVD, because your little ballet lover is very likely to leap and twirl along with the dance playing on the TV screen.“
