Easter Gift Guide - Shoes

Easter Gift Guide – New Shoes!

April 10, 2014

I love new shoes as much as the next shoeaholic, so the option to purchase a new pair always appeals. Roo thankfully has taken my opinion on shoes in that you can never have too many (she owns more pairs than I do). With Easter approaching it hopefully mean the start of good weather and we can pack away our winter boots and swap them for something a little more light and lets face it better looking.

Alongside our Easter outfits we received as children we were treated to a new pair of summer shoes, this was always a difficult decision for me… do I go for sandals/flip-flops, ballet pumps or a light trainer style? I face these same questions when it comes to Roo and Tigger, although admittedly Tigger is somewhat easier to please than Roo.

With a wide range of shoes at fabulous prices I have a selection of spring/summer shoes from Shoe Zone to share with you, hopefully you’ll be able to tell me which is your favourite and help my shoe shopping dilemma…

Sandals

Easter Shoes - Girls Sandals

Sandals can be worn with so many different outfits, whether it’s shorts and t-shirts or a cute little summer dress. Personally I’d love the pink wedge sandal for myself but they only go up to a size 4 *sobs*.

Easter Shoes - Boys Sandals

Tigger is a little funny about having open toe sandals so whilst I think he would love the Thomas & Friends ones he would probably be better off with the Demo Max sandals which have a closed toe (all the better for climbing with).

Canvas ShoesEaster Shoes - Girls Canvas Shoes

Canvas shoes are the staple spring/summer footwear option, light enough to be worn on warmer days but keeping the feet covered on chillier ones. The classic pump design is Roo’s favourite although I need to work on her shoe tying abilities.

Easter Shoes - Boys Canvas Shoes

Generally Tigger loves his trainers but in the summer months his feet get so hot and sweaty that this year I want to try and convince him that canvas shoes are the way forward, maybe either of these designs might appeal to him.

Trainers

Easter Shoes - Girls Trainers

Roo owns one pair of trainers, her school PE ones… she has never really shown an interest in them however when we go to the park, out on our scooters etc. pumps and sandals aren’t all that practical so I’m hoping the allure of either butterflies or sparkles might tempt her to pop a pair on more often.Easter Shoes - Boys Trainers

Tigger’s staple footwear are his trainers in various colour ways (just like his Daddy). I’m loving the robust look of these two pairs I’m sure they can withstand the park, football, climbing and anything else that he throws at them… but which pair?

Will you be treating your little ones to some new shoes this Easter? Why not pop into your local Shoe Zone store or browse their online store for a great selection of shoes for kids and adults alike.

Disclosure: I am a Shoe Zone Mummy for which I have received two pairs of children’s shoes FOC
