Next Monday will see the Team Honk relay baton arrive in East Anglia!
Collecting the baton in Southwold on Monday will be Asa from Big Family, Little Adventures in his decorated 9 seater minibus. The following day Mandi from Hex Mum and I will be heading down to Lowestoft take the baton on a scenic tour of all the local sites, including Ness Point (the most easterly point in the UK).
Whilst you might think that we are off on a little jolly around Lowestoft, in fact we will be dressed as a Tiger (me) and a Parrot (Mandi) whilst bouncing along on space hoppers… Yes, you read that right, space hoppers!
After having a well deserved day of rest we will be back in the thick of things on Thursday, this time scooting from Lowestoft to Great Yarmouth. Taking a few of Great Yarmouth’s treasures before hopping onto a train to Norwich where we will meet up with the Norwich team to hand over the baton.
Now here’s the important bit…
We need your help! If you can spare just £1 (or more if you can) to sponsor us we would be most grateful. If giving to charity wasn’t a good enough incentive then how about if we raise £200 by Thursday 30th January both Mandi and I will don our fancy dress costumes to complete the school run! (please bear in mind that I have no car at the moment so I will be walking the entire school run dressed as a Tiger!)
