Changing Faces Week One {2015}

January 2, 2015

Sometimes I think we are all guilty of taking our children for granted. Seeing their faces everyday it is sometimes easy to miss them change before our very eyes. With each passing day their faces change a little, they grow a little bit more and learn something new.

It is not until you someone comments about how much they have changed or grown that you take a second look at them and wonder how you missed them changing.

Changing Faces

Taking a look back at photos from days out we enjoyed last year it has made me realise just how much my children have changed.

This year I want to try to capture the changing faces of my children. A reflection on the week with a selection of photos so that come the end of the year I can see just how much they have changed throughout the year.

Roo

My darling daughter has changed so much last year, from making the leap from infant to junior without a care in the world. Discovering new friends and being just as helpful towards her new teachers as she was in her previous school.

Enjoying learning new skills and visiting new places with her Cub Scouts group.

She is a sponge just ready to soak up any new information that you give to her, often found reading her fact books in order to come and tell me something new.

Tigger

Looking back to this time last year I was so worried about moving Tigger from day nursery to pre-school, I don’t know why I worried so much as it has been the making of him. Whilst he doesn’t tell me all about his day like Roo did at this age he has made a best friend and watching them play together is simply heart warming.

With his love of trains still very close to his heart he has managed to find some space to add the Marvel Comic characters in there too and can often be found prancing around the living room dressed as Captain America or Spiderman trying to save the world.

How do you record the changing faces of your children?
