Brewers Fayre | The Oaks, Norwich

November 1, 2015

As a family we often travel into Norwich City to make the most of the range of shops, the larger cinemas and various activities that are on for the children (especially Norwich Castle). Whilst we are enjoying a family day out we are always on the look out for somewhere to eat and whilst the city centre offers a range of restaurants we like to venue out of the city to see what other restaurants are available.

Brewers Fayre, The Oaks in Norwich is located over by Norwich Airport and has recently undergone a refurbishment so it seemed the perfect opportunity to head over and take a look at the new look.

Parking

With The Oaks being located close to Norwich Airport as well as several hotels the car park can be quite busy. Restaurant customers are entitled to 3 hours free parking within the car park after which you would need to pay.

Decor

The Oaks has undergone a recently refurbishment and whilst we weren’t familiar with how it looked beforehand we weren’t disappointed by the new fresh, clean look to the restaurant. It has the mixture of a traditional pub style decor with wooden beams, fireplaces, tartan print seating whilst still looking bright and modern. With an array of different sized tables and chairs it gives it a homely feel rather than a generic restaurant with all the tables facing the same way and looking regimented.

Around the restaurant there is an array of artwork and signs which tie into the traditional pub feel whilst offering something new to look at with each glance around the restaurant.

Boo Roo and Tigger Too’s thoughts…

After a busy day shopping we were pleased to rest ourselves down for a delicious meal. The Oaks restaurant provided us with a clean, modern environment in order to enjoy our meal as well as giving us several different menu options.

Being located next to the airport meant that the restaurant was busy and I’d advise you to book a table either via the Brewers Fayre website or by telephone to avoid having to wait for a table. Whilst the restaurant was busy we didn’t have to wait too long for our food to come out and the waiting staff regularly checked that we had everything we needed throughout the meal.

Disclosure: We received a £50 gift voucher towards the cost of our meal for the purpose of review.
