I’m struggling this week with what to say, what to do and whether there is any light at the end of the tunnel. Which sounds far more dramatic than it truly is, however, it is how I am feeling.
A good meal doesn’t require oodles upon oodles of dishes to make. There are many one-pot meal recipes that create delicious meals the entire family will love – but with a fraction of the dirty dishes. One-pot meals are great if you’re short on time – you’re able to throw the ingredients into a pot, mix, and let it do its job.
When it comes to sitting down and watching TV/movies this month I feel we’ve been a little out of sync with each other. Only really coming together for family film nights. There are few things quite as good at developing motor skills and a sense of balance as riding a scooter. Combine this with the pure joy of movement and spending time in the fresh air, and you have a winning combination!
One of the most underrated facts in the world at the moment is mental health, given the fast-paced digitisation. A well off mental state helps in the development of the strength to cope with the difficulties in life. This also helps them become responsible adults. The biggest challenge that working parents face nowadays is the lack of time to spend with their kids. This is a major reason for mental health issues at an immature age.
As the days. weeks and months of lockdown have passed. It’s been interesting to see the different ways we have adapted our lives and things we have been doing to occupy our time. After looking through social media throughout lockdown I have started to question whether I am missing out on the full lockdown experience.
