After taking a look at the MAD Blog Awards site I noticed that I am in fact nominated in three categories. Thank you so very much!
Firstly, Family Fun, I can't take any credit for this one, in fact I think the credit goes to Roo and Tigger. From the funny things they say and do, to the fun they have playing together and bossy each other around.
Secondly, Family Life, I like to think that as a family we go out and enjoy as much as we possibly can. We hold Norfolk Museum family passes which I can highly recommend as we have three based in Great Yarmouth. There are often activities and events on at weekends, school holidays and evenings which allows Roo and Tigger to get hands on. We are also lucky enough to have taken up an offer in our local newspaper that offered a discount on annual passes to the Sea Life Centre. These are used two to three times a month of not more, we even when to see Boomer (Roo's favourite penguin) on Boxing day!
Finally, Thrifty, I'd like to think that I can stretch my families budget. When shopping online I recommend that you use cashback websites, I use Top Cashback and in the last year have earned just over £500. I also recommend installing InvisibleHand, it's a great browser add on that when you're looking at a product on one webpage it will search other websites on your behalf to make sure you are getting the lowest possible price. Not sure if that makes me thrifty or a penny pincher but at least I'm attempting to make the best of our money.
I have no idea who has nominated me, but I just wanted to say a big thank you to whoever you are. I'm not finalist material but it's lovely to be nominated all the same.
One little footnote to the MAD Blog Awards... Why don't you have a category for toddlers/pre-schoolers??
