Shortbread - Recipe

Shortbread - Recipe

Ingredients
50g/2oz - Caster sugar
100ml - Flora Cuisine (100g/4oz Margarine)
150g/6oz - Plain flour

18cm/9in sandwich cake tin

Makes 8 pieces

Method
  1. Light oven gas 4/180C
  2. Lightly grease the tin
  3. Cream sugar and butter in mixing bowl using a wooden spoon
  4. When soft and creamy add the sieved flour to form a stiff dough
  5. Press into tin, level top, prick with a fork
  6. Bake for 20 minutes until golden brown
  7. Cut into 8 pieces, dust with caster sugar
Biscuits
Make as above, steps 1-4
Then roll out dough 1/2cm thick
Cut into rounds or shapes then bake on a greased tray for about 15 minutes
